A deceptively crafted patina filled dome 'indented' polka dot band. This laborious ring is entirely forged - first drilling holes through thick sterling sheet, then filling each hole with solder and melting until a domey indent is formed. this daily wear dotted design was introduced during William Spratling's first design period c.1931-1946.
